We all know that carpets are a relatively new item in the household list iof ‘must haves’ and in fact they are beginning to wane in popularity in some quarters again. The desire for carpets only in one or two rooms is now becoming the norm. Certainly not wanted in the washrooms, wcs, kitchens or anywhere else that gets grubby and needs constant refreshing and almost sterilising. However those houses that do still boast a magnificent wool carpet are very often the most comfortably furnished all over the house and this is appreciated by guests who may stay over. A cleaning session twice a year will keep carpets and good quality rugs in excellent condition and it smells wonderful afterward. Although an easy to clean wooden floor is an absolute joy when dogs and children reside with other humans, there is greater enjoyment of warm feet and slp free walking and running about when the carpets remain. Getting those luscious carpets cleaned by professionals is such a good idea – it is vital to prolong the life of a good carpet too. It takes the grubs of moths and other nasties keeping the fabric itself bouncy and uncluttered by static, dust and mites of any sort.
